My name is Jan Otoupalík and I have been working as an interior designer since 2005. During these years I have gained experience in design and interior architecture, not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. As a result, I can now capitalize on my skills and expertise and incorporate them into my projects. As an interior architect, I carefully and attentively design creative, functional and timeless interiors for my clients. My work is based on an individual approach to each client. When designing interiors, I follow conventional ideas, as well as unconventional and innovative interior design trends, which underline not only the client's personality, but also the interior’s functionality and aesthetics. The final look of the interior should be an original expression of contemporary design that blends with the lifestyle of the client.

I graduated from the High Vocational and Technical Institute where I majored in furniture design and furniture production. Along the path of the furniture designer and production manager I decided to go beyond and pursue my life’s goal and interest – Interior architecture and design.

I graduated with class of 2007 with honors from Marywood University in Pennsylvania, USA, majoring in design and interior architecture. For several years I worked in a renowned architectural firm as an interior architect on countless interior design jobs of residential and commercial space and on the design of atypical furniture.

Presently, I work in Brno and occasionally in Prague. I have been working on several residential and commercial interior design projects, atypical design of interiors and their accessories, as well as on the interior design of country houses and cottages, and last but not least, on design of scalable system furniture for comercial and residential spaces.
